Winifred Johnston Randall 1873-1963

Winifred is shown above examining the charter for Fort Wayne's chapter of the DAR, which she helped found.

 

 

 

Winifred was a civic leader, hotel owner and fearless businesswoman, supplying the lumber for the Panama Canal construction in the early 1900s. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and was very committed to education... generously putting many young people through college.
